General Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before you start.

1. Time

1. The countdown clock at the top right of the test screen shows the time you have left.
2. When the clock reaches 00:00:00 the test ends by itself and your answers are submitted. You do not need to submit at the end.
3. Refreshing or closing the page does not stop the clock.

2. Question palette

The palette on the right shows the status of every question:

Note: a question that is Answered and Marked for Review is counted in your score.

3. Answering a question

1. Click an option to choose it, then click Save & Next. An option is saved only when you click Save & Next or Save & Mark for Review.
2. Clear removes your answer for the question on screen.
3. Mark for Review & Next marks the question so you can come back to it.
4. To go to any question, click its number in the palette. Moving away without saving does not save the option you clicked.
5. The subject names at the top take you to the first question of that subject.

4. Marking

1. Every question has four options and only one is correct.
2. +4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong answer, 0 if you leave it.

Read before you begin

1. There are questions in four subjects. All are compulsory.
2. There is negative marking, so avoid blind guessing.
3. Sit the test in one go, as you would at the centre: no notes, no calculator, phone on silent.
4. Your progress is saved on this device. Use the same phone or computer to finish.
